Assignments
During the project, students will have a number of assignments. They will all be published on the project blog under Assignment1(video), Assignment2(audio) etc.
RIGHT NOW: Assignment4(multimedia): We will learn Flash on the fly. For three days, students will research, photograph, record sound for the first multimedia story. The overall subject is “online media” which means students will not only learn and produce multimedia but also create packages with relevant content that will add to our knowledge and reflections about the online universe. Assignments will be on the project blog during week 41 (Oct. 8-12)
Assignment1(video): The video should be about “dialogue” but is otherwise very open. Students work in groups of two or three. Every student edits his or her own video in iMovie and one video from each group is published on the blog.
Assignment2(audio): Students create an article that contains audio. Articles should reflect on the use and role of audio on the web.
Assignment3(photo): Students create a series of five photos. Subjects are free. All photos are integrated in an article on the project blog and afterwards evaluated by one of the photographers among the students.
